Table of contents
URSThis is the original Ultimate Roulette System. It uses complex logic, pattern recognition and some fuzzy logic in the tricky parts to determine the best Dozen-bets to place. It originated from the Ultimate Greyhound Betting System. My immediate challenge was that there were too many participants in the race. In the greyhound races there were only six runners, whilst in roulette there was thirty seven (or thirty eight for American tables).
I needed to reduce this figure. Luckily for me, the roulette table offered a solution to this in the form of the Dozen-bets. The roulette table divided the race participants into four, the zero and three dozens. I decided to ignore the zero as it hardly appeared in comparison with any dozen.
The URS thus treated the roulette game as a three-legged race. It simply had to determine what dozen was the most popular at any particular time. This seemed a simple enough goal, however in practice it proved surprising illusive to start with. After writing millions of lines of code, I eventually found a solution. I used progressive filters, similar to the method employed for filtering water.
You see, in water filtration, one filter is never sufficient for filtering out all impurities, thus several filters are employed. Each filter filters a small subset of impurities making the water less impure for the next filter in line until the final product which although still not perfect may filter out over ninety nine percent of all impurities.
Like the water filter, URS used layers of filters to filter out losing patterns. Each filter applied new rules that captured a subset of the possible losses that could occur with the URS. The resultant system was so powerful that in ten thousand spins using twelve stakes, it lost only fifteen times. That is an average, and is roughly one loss every six hundred and fifty spins.
This filter technique has proved to be exceedingly successful and has allowed the URS to become one of the leading genuine long-term online roulette computer systems in the world, defeating the long held view that the Martingale[1] staking system does not work. The URS stakes are not progressively doubled. Instead, a basic multiplier of one and a half is applied to each progressive stake. The maximum amount of stakes allowed is twelve; however, you can manually vary this between a one-stake list and a twelve-stake list.
As the URS win rate is so high, when a loss eventfully does occur, you will not be wiped out. Instead, you simply will lose some of your profits (note, not your own money but profits). In the long term, the system consistently grows your profits (see Figure 1).
Thus the URS was born. A simple idea that was later translated into a software program. We shall next examine some of the features of this incredible system.
Figure 1: Standard URS performance over 10,000 spins. The facia
Figure 2: The URS facia without Mini extended
The URS facia is the part you see when you first open the program. (See Figure 2 for an illustration of the URS facia.) The facia contains the latest results section on the far left, the messages section in the centre top, the roulette table map in the middle of the facia, the manual submit results below the roulette table map, the stake marker on the roulette table map, the active performance graph in the lower middle right hand of the facia, the stake list and Mini URS activation indicator on the far right of the facia, and the statistics section on the bottom centre of the facia.
Latest ResultsThe latest results section keeps a record of the last 15 spins of your game as you input the results from your online casino roulette game. You will see the numbers you input represented in this section, bottom up (the latest result will be at the top of the list and the oldest results will be near or at the bottom of the list).
MessagesAs you input results, you will see messages at the top of the centre of the facia. “Place your bets”, “Sorry, you lose” and “You are a winner!!” are the messages you will see the most. These messages tell you how you are doing and what to do next. If your last bet wins, you will see the message, “You are a winner!!” whilst if your last bet loses you will be presented with the message “Sorry, you lose”. These messages should be displayed only for a few seconds before the message returns to “Place your bets”.
Roulette Table MapA diagram of a roulette table is displayed in the middle of the screen. As you move your mouse over the table a popup will say “Double-click to submit result”. You can either submit the results of the roulette wheel spin from your online casino account by double-clicking the actual number that won or if it was not a zero, then you can also double-click on the dozen that the winning number belongs to, i.e. 1 to 12, 13 to 24 or 25 to 36. If the number was a zero, simply double-click on the zero.
There are sections of the roulette table map which are non-active, i.e. you cannot use these sections to input results for URS. See Figure 3 for a graphical illustration of these sections. The column section labeled 2 to 1, the outside bet sections labeled 1-18, EVEN, ODD, 19 to 36 and the red and black diamond shape sections cannot be used to input results into URS.
Figure 3: Non-active sections of the URS roulette table map
The only sections that are active for double-clicking to input results into the URS are illustrated in Figure 4.
Figure 4: Active sections of the URS roulette table map
If you use the graphical method and use the dozens sections to input spin results, you will notice that the number that is used for the 1-12 dozen is 11, the number substituted for 13-24 is 22 and the number used for 25-36 is 33. Don’t be surprised by this because when you use the dozens section to input results a number in that dozen has to be chosen to represent the dozen. URS uses 11, 22, and 33. Zero can only be input by double clicking 0 (zero) when you use the graphical method for result input into URS.
Manual SubmitThe roulette table map is only one means of result input into the URS. You can also input results into the URS using the manual submission method (see Figure 5). First select the number that won from the drop down menu and then click the submit button. Either method of result input into the URS is acceptable. It’s all a matter of preference. Use the method you find comfortable. I personally prefer the graphical method because I find it faster and easier than the manual submission method for me.
Figure 5: Manual Submit section
Stake MarkerYou will notice a red marker that is displayed within one of the dozen sections on the roulette table map. This marker will have a number displayed on it. The marker marks the dozen you are to place the next bet on and the number displayed on it represents the amount to use when placing the next bet.
Figure 6: The Stake Marker
In Figure 6, the stake marker is sitting on the 13 – 24 (2nd-Dozen) and displaying 11.4. In this example we will assume you are playing roulette using pound sterling. Therefore you will place a bet on the 2nd-Dozen using £11.40 in your online roulette account. You will note that the Figure displayed on the red stake marker changes after you update the URS with the results. It will increase, by incrementing to the next stake in the stake list when you lose or it will reset to the first stake in the stake list if you won the last spin. We will look closer at the stake list in a short while, for now lets look at the next section of the URS facia, the Mini URS sub-window button.
Performance GraphThe performance graph is a very useful tool. Most gamblers do no keep good records and thus are often unaware of their performance. They can lose £1,000 but will continue to gamble because they hope to win big in the next spin. With the graphical performance graph you see exactly how much profit or loss you have amassed.
Figure 7: The Performance Graph
The URS performance graph (see Figure 7) is active and dynamic. This means that it changes as you input the results. It is plotted with number of spins along the x-axis (horizontal) and money along the y-axis (vertical). In one glance you can see how you are performing. The URS performance graph does not display non-Mini URS results when the Mini URS feature is activated. To deactivate the Mini URS feature, click Tools on the menu bar and select Mini URS. “OFF” will appear under the “Mini URS” text in the Mini URS and Stake list pane of the facia.
Mini URSThe Mini URS is a loss management tool for URS. It greatly reduces the risk of losing and greatly increases the chances for winning. It does this by applying a loss management filter to the standard URS results. When the results are showing signs of potential losses the Mini URS will display “Wait”. Only when the opportunity to win is greater will the message in the Mini URS sub-window change to display a stake value to apply to the current suggested Dozen-bet.
Figure 8: Mini URS sub-window
Figure 9: Mini URS performance over 10,000 spins
From Figure 9 you can see that in using Mini URS over 10,000 spins, only three total losses were experienced compared to the fifteen with the standard URS. You will notice also that Mini URS won less money over the 10,000 spins in comparison to the standard URS. This is because it spent most of its time waiting to play. We shall come back to Mini URS later but for now let us look at another section of the URS facia.
The Stake ListWhen the Mini URS sub-window is extended, you will see displayed a stake list (see Figure 8). As you input results and a new stake value is suggested, you will note that the highlighted Figure in the stake list also changes. The highlighted value is your current stake. This will be important later when we cover more advanced loss management techniques. For now just know that to see your stake list you must extend the Mini URS sub-window, even if you are not using Mini URS.
The Statistics SectionThis section displays your bankroll, profit, win ratio and number of spins of the session, (see Figure 10). The bankroll is how much you started with plus any profit or losses. The profit is how much you have made/lost in the session. The spins represent how many spins you have made since you last reset the URS, (opening the URS program automatically resets this counter). The win ratio represents your total wins divided by the number of spins (i.e. if you have won 18 out of 50 spins, your win ratio will be 18/50 = 0.36 or 36%).
Figure 10: The statistics section
The URS Menu OptionsWe shall now examine the menu options above the facia of the URS, (see Figure 11).
Figure 11: URS menu options
FileWithin the File menu option, you will find Export Statement and Exit. Exit is self explanatory; you use it to shut the URS application down. If you have input any results, when you try to exit, and you want to save these input in the form of a statement before you exit, it is advisable that you use the Export Statement menu facility first before you use the Exit option. You can exit anytime you wish, however if you don’t export your inputs first, you will lose them forever.
The Export Statement facility allows you to export your inputs to a comma delimited file or .CSV file. The format of the file will “URS Statement (19 Feb 2007).csv”. The date will be the date you are exporting the data. If you are exporting several times in the same day, change the name of the file manually – i.e. add the time of day to the end of the file name i.e. “URS Statement (19 Feb 2007 - 13:21).csv”.
You can manipulate and create charts with the csv data through Microsoft Excel or another spreadsheet program that recognizes .csv’s. You can use the following shortcut keys to access these two features:
EditUnder the Edit menu option, you will find the Undo Last and Reset facilities. You can use the Undo Last feature to undo the last input you made. This feature is useful when you make an input mistake. You can undo it and input the correct result. The Reset facility clears all the inputs you make from when you open the URS program or since your last reset. You will be asked to confirm that you really want to reset. If you confirm that you do, you will be asked if you want to export your statement before you reset. You can use the following shortcut keys to access these two features:

Figure 13: Example 1 Stake List
To calculate your bankroll if you were using all twelve stakes in the list. Use 257.493 (the multiplier for a twelve stake list from Figure 13) X (multiplied by) 1.0 (your lowest stake in your stake list) = 257.493. Therefore £260 would be sufficient bankroll to use for these stakes.
The Minimum Stake setting allows you to set the amount of your minimum stake. This Figure directly determines the amount of bankroll you will need as well as whether you have enough room left within your casino roulette table limits to actually have the stake list length you are using. If your Minimum Stake is too high, you may not be able to use the full length of your stake list.
The Max Stake Level determines the length of your stake list. You can select stake list lengths from 1 to 12.
Select a language from the list of languages. The language automatically setting you select will change the text of the URS program to the selected language. Currently only a few European languages are supported, however, more languages will be added in future updates.
The Mini URS setting under the Tool menu option allows you to switch Mini URS on or off. The Mini URS sub-window allows you to use the URS built in LMT facility. By playing the Mini URS selection rather than the main URS selection, you will reduce your losses considerably and smooth out your performance chart. Mini URS makes the URS more consistent and reduces the risk of losing.
To play the Mini URS, you must first activate it using the setting within the Tools menu option. Follow the instructions in the Mini URS sub-window, i.e. when it says “WAIT”, wait until it says a stake number instead. When the Mini URS sub-window changes from saying “WAIT”, place the bet on the dozen indicated by the URS stake marker but use the use the stake number instructed by the Mini URS sub-window.
For the best results whilst using Mini URS, you must select the longest stake length (i.e. twelve). This is because Mini URS is already employing LMT and has been optimized for full length stake length. Therefore, using a shorter stake length will only result in less profit and more losses. We shall shortly examine how you can apply your own personal LMT with the URS without Mini URS.
The Registration menu option allows you to activate the software. The software comes as a trial, allowing 25 bets before resetting. To get full access with no limits to use, you need to activate the program. Use the Registration menu option under Tools to do this. You will need your invoice/transaction number to generate a text code to send to the email address for activation.
Copy and paste your invoice/transaction number into the registration window and click the submit button. A text will be generated below in the display window. Use your mouse to highlight and paste all the text to the email address given at the site.
You will receive a
registration code back from the URS Helpdesk. Copy the
activation code from this email and input into the
registration window, then click the Register button. Your
URS program will be activated for the machine you activated
it on if you correctly carried out the registration process.
http://www.ultimategamblingsystems.com/support gets you to the support pages or you can access them through the Help menu option in the program. The about option under Help allows you to see the version and copyright details for the URS program.
The URS program allows you to confidently play online roulette and win. You can use the URS program with or without the Mini URS feature. There are pros and cons to using the URS program either way. Let’s look at the pros and cons of using URS with or without Mini URS illustrated in Figure 14.

Figure 14: Pros and Cons of Using URS with and Without Mini URS
Because the Mini URS introduces an extra level of filtration, you will tend to play less with it than without it, thus the playing will tend to be slower with a lot of periods where you are asked to wait by the Mini URS until the time is right. The benefit of this however, is less losses and more consistent bankroll growth.
When using the Mini URS system, there will be fewer opportunities to apply LMT than when using just URS by itself. URS without Mini URS requires more skill and patience as well as a sensible LMT to further improve the win rate. To demonstrate the power of Mini URS, let’s take a close look at the URS performance charts with and without Mini URS.
In Figure 1 we see that in a test of 10,000 spins supplied by URS members from their various online casinos, URS returned a little over £2,500. In the test URS without Mini URS, there were seventeen losses. The test was started with a Bankroll of £100; therefore, the efficiency of URS is 0.25 per spin and a loss factor of 0.0017.
In Figure 9 we see that in the same test of 10,000 spins collected by URS members from the various online casinos, Mini URS returned £1,900 with three losses. Again, the test was started with a bankroll of £100; therefore, the efficiency is 0.19 per spin and a loss factor of 0.0003.
From the comparison above you can see that Mini URS is 5.67 times safer than URS alone. URS however is 24% more efficient than Mini URS. By this I mean URS wins per spin, 24% more than Mini URS does. This information is useful for those of you deciding whether to play roulette aggressively or conservatively. URS without Mini URS is the option for those of you who tend to be aggressive in your investment outlook and approach, whilst Mini URS is more for the conservative gamblers amongst you.
Throughout this book we shall use these 10,000 spin test as the reference to test all the systems. This will allow us to accurately make comparisons on their performance.
If you are planning on playing URS aggressively, you can increase your efficiency and lower your loss rate by applying LMT to your online roulette game play.
Many of you who read my URS forum notes on LMT (see Appendix 1) have expressed to me how you found it to be useful but that a fuller, more in-depth explanation is necessary. This book attempts to fulfil that request. At the time I added an automated LMT subsystem to URS and SUPER URS. This subsystem I called Mini URS and Mini SUPER URS. This subsystem went some way to meet the request for higher security and lowered risk of playing the two systems however for the aggressive gambler who wants to master LMT this is not sufficient. The following section in this book will explain how you can adapt various LMT for the URS range.
[1] A system of using progressively doubling stakes, mainly on outside bets, until you win. The system is flawed in that every now and then during freak number you would be wiped out due to running out of money or running out of bets due to the table limits.
